- Absolute silence must be maintained.
- Books must be handled carefully. In case of damage caused to the book by writing or scribbling on it, a fine will be charged as per the damage.
- Students can get books issued during the library period assigned in the class time table.
- They should bring their library cards and all books must be entered in the library register before they are issued.
- Examine the book for any damage while borrowing it and if any it must be notified to the librarian immediately.
- Books should be returned after 7 days and it could be extended for a further period of 7 days provided there is no demand for the same book by any other student.
- Failure to return a book on expiry of the maximum period of 14 days will involve payment of a fine which is decided by the authority from time to time.
- The borrower who loses a book will have to replace the book or deposit the cost of the book.
- No library books will be issued during vacations.
- If a student is undisciplined in the library he/she may not be allowed to use the library.
- Reference books will not be issued under any circumstances.
- Before the annual exam all the books taken must be returned to the library and get the NOC from librarian for getting the hall ticket.
